North Unit Irrigation District Lat 43

The NUID Lateral 43 project was completed within a single winter season and involved offloading, staging, installing, and welding over 5,000 linear feet of 66 inch Krah HDPE pipe, along with HDPE stubs ranging from 4 to 16 inches. The scope included earthwork, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, and other restoration tasks. The project also involved tying into a 300-foot concrete irrigation channel, requiring demolition of the existing inlet and installation of a new inlet with two traveling screens to improve irrigation system efficiency.
