Located in Battle Ground, Washington, the Tukes Mountain Reservoir No. 6 project replaced three aging concrete reservoirs with a new 106-foot-diameter, 2.5-million-gallon ground-level welded steel potable water storage reservoir. The new reservoir expanded the City’s water storage capacity by 1.5 million gallons while addressing aging infrastructure and seismic concerns. Work included demolition and removal of the existing reservoirs, site clearing and excavation with rock blasting, water piping improvements, new electrical and control systems, retaining walls, stormwater facilities including an underground detention system, and a new paved access road.
