Valley View Estates Subdivision

The Valley View Estates Project consisted of the civil site development for a 9.26 acre, 36 single family building lot subdivision in the Northwest part of Camas, WA. With multiple natural springs on the hillside discharging water year-round, proper groundwater control and filtration was essential to ensuring this project’s success. This operation included building two water detention ponds with overflows leading into multiple Baker tanks and a Contech Filter Vault that then discharged the clean water back into the public storm system. Our crews also performed the grading of approximately 8 acres of the site including the movement of 60,000 cubic-yards of material, and we installed over 8,500 linear feet of storm, sewer, and water utilities ranging from 8” – 18” in diameter. Our scope also included building over 13,000 square-feet of Allen block retaining walls to provide stabilized areas for future home foundations, building pads, a public trail, over 3,300 square-feet of sidewalks, and the extension of NW Goodwin Street through the entire subdivision, which opened up access to the Columbia Palisades area of Camas.
