Working with the City of the Dalles, our team undertook the reconstruction of a critical river intake for the city’s municipal water supply. This project involved replacing the existing dam and incorporating fish screening and in-stream fish passage systems while ensuring continuous flow to the city. This included the construction of six rock ramps, a new fish diversion channel, six fish screens, a fish bypass flume, a new headwall, five headgates, a diversion intake well and a control sill. Working with a tight in-water work window our team addressed project challenges and delays quickly and implemented plans to allow for finishing the work on schedule.
