The Groveside Village Apartment complex project was a turnkey design-build project for the client. Tapani helped the client evaluate, select and purchase the land for the site, and performed the sitework and building construction.
The apartment complex contains a total of 22 units and a leasing office, separated into two three story buildings. Each unit includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms with quartz counter tops, electric fireplaces, heating and air conditioning, a utility closet with washer/dryer, and a large kitchen with upgraded appliances, and a storage unit off of the balcony.
Site work for the apartments included excavation and embankment of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of material, construction of 3,000 square feet of retaining walls, installation of new sewer, storm, water and electrical utilities, 1,000 feet of curb, 3,100 square feet of sidewalk and 29,000 square feet of asphalt pavement. The landscaping included irrigation for over 400 plants and trees, along with a picnic area and horseshoe pit.
