A key waterworks supplier for Tapani projects, the HD Fowler Facility project was a unique opportunity to provide construction services for a long standing trade partner. The project consists of two co-joined buildings. One a pre-engineered metal warehouse, and the other a two story block masonry office. The facility, operating at net-zero energy, now serves as a regional branch for sales and estimating for the growing local market.
Scheduled for winter construction on a site with high ground water, construction of the 10,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building and 6,700 square foot sales office included over 5 acres of grading, cement treated base and rocking of the entire site, new utilities, and asphalt paving. Self performing all structural work, our crews poured the footings, concrete building slabs, second story concrete deck, and deferred designed concrete stairs. All of the structural steel used in the masonry office building was also fabricated and installed in-house.
