The Regional Biosolids Facility project provided the City of Long Beach a new facility to process, treat and store Class B biosolids received from both the City’s and Ilwaco’s existing wastewater treatment plants. This involved the construction of three pre-engineered metal buildings ranging from 2,500 – 7,000 square feet, pouring four structural concrete tunnels, the construction of a concrete masonry building used for storing the solids waste, and site work and paving. Additionally, our crews constructed a Non-Potable Water (NPW) pump station with all associated mechanical components including a FKC Co. Dewatering Screw Press, ECS Composting System, and an aeration system.
